Dr. Reza Valizadeh is a professor in the Department of Animal Science at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, specializing in ruminant nutrition. He earned his bachelor's degree in animal husbandry from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 1980, followed by a master's degree in Animal Science from Tarbiat Modares University in 1986, where he graduated as the top student. He completed his PhD in Animal Nutrition (Ruminant Nutrition) at the University of Adelaide, Australia, in 1994.
Throughout his career, Dr. Valizadeh has held several leadership positions, including serving as the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ferdowsi University during multiple terms: 1995-1999, 2005-2013, and from 2022 to the present. He has also been a member of the National Central Council of the Agricultural Engineers and Natural Resources Organization for two four-year terms since 2005.
Dr. Valizadeh has an extensive publication record, with approximately 545 articles in reputable international and national journals and conferences, as well as 10 books. Since 2010, he has served as the editor-in-chief of the Iranian Journal of Animal Science Research.
